Operation Steps
A. Sample Collection
- Female Cervix: Use a sterile Dacron swab to collect epithelial cells from the cervical canal.
- Male Urethra: Insert a sterilized swab 2–4 cm into the urethra, rotate for 3–5 seconds.
B. Sample Processing
1. Add 6 drops of Extraction Solution A to the processing tube.
2. Insert the swab, rotate, and squeeze against the tube wall for 2 minutes.
3. Add 6 drops of Extraction Solution B, repeat squeezing, then discard the swab.
4. Attach the dropper tip to the tube.
C. Test Execution
1. Place the test kit on a clean surface.
2. Add 2 drops of processed sample to the sampling well.
3. Read results after 10 minutes (invalid after 20 minutes).
Interpretation Criteria
- Positive: Two bands (Control [C] + Test [T]).
- Negative: One band (Control [C] only).
- Invalid: No band in Control [C]. Repeat test.
