FAQ

Q: Can this test device be used for non - fecal specimens?

A: No. The Rotavirus - Adenovirus Combo Rapid Test Device (Feces) is specifically designed for the detection of Adenovirus and Rotavirus in fecal specimens only and cannot be used for other types of specimens.

Q: What should I do if the test result is negative but the patient still shows clinical symptoms of gastrointestinal infection?

A: A negative test result does not rule out the possibility of Adenovirus or Rotavirus infection. If clinical symptoms persist, it is recommended to conduct additional testing using other clinical methods. All test results should be interpreted in conjunction with other clinical information available to the physician.

Q: What does it mean if the control line does not appear after the test?

A: If the control line fails to appear, the test result is invalid. The main reasons may be insufficient specimen volume added to the specimen well or incorrect operation during the test procedure. First, review the test procedure carefully and repeat the test with a new test device. If the control line still does not appear, stop using the current batch of test kits and contact the local distributor promptly.
